Summer Berries with Maple Syrup
The only thing better than fresh summer berries are berries cooked down with a bit of maple syrup then topped with whipped cream!
Try a combination of berries, or maybe berries and rhubarb. Peaches cooked down are also lovely, and as summer moves into fall then try apples and maple syrup. A bit of herbs would be a savory touch, mint or sage, lavender or rosemary. With fruit, maple, and cream there is no limit!
