Sugaring Wood
It's that time of year where we start to load up the sugarhouse with the firewood for spring sugaring season. We move any barrels out of the woodshed side of the sugarhouse and start stacking and by the time we are done there are towers of wood ready to dry out for the coming season.
It's a lot of extra work, certainly more work than flipping a switch and turning on the oil-fired evaporator. But we think it's worth it, and if you love our maple syrup you probably think so too! Here
